Millennials, commonly grouped as those born between 1980 and 2000, are a force to be reckoned with in terms of customer service and customer experience delivery. Millennials are second in size as a consumer segment to the Baby Boomers, with very different buying preferences and product and service needs. There are approximately 95 million millennials in the United States that are responsible for more than half of consumer spending.

Connectivity, convenience and personalized service will continue to drive their spending and brand preference. The infographic below tells more about this savvy group of customers and how their preferences are changing customer service delivery:
