Bravestorm Announces Corporate Name Change to Bold SoftwareBravestorm today announced that it has changed its name to Bold Software, LLC. The change will be effective June 15th, 2009 and comes at an exciting time in the history of the company. “We offer a comprehensive suite of solutions for online retailers looking to enhance their customers’ experiences as well as increase conversion rates,” said Bold Software President and CEO Steve Castro-Miller. “However, we reached a point where we didn’t feel our name conveyed that. The company name – Bold Software – acknowledges our legacy under the BoldChat brand while providing a larger umbrella for all our offerings. This includes everything from a stand-alone small business click-to-call product to complete website communications suites for enterprises.” Name Change Genesis As a result, the organization saw constructive feedback in the form of Tim’s unbiased report. The only finding that came as a surprise was the perceived scale of the company, or its ability to serve enterprise customers. “We have a significant presence in the enterprise space and have been successfully serving that market for more than five years now,” commented Bold Software Director of Marketing Ross Haskell. “In digging deeper, we found that it was more a packaging and positioning issue than a reality. With several new products and partnerships planned for 2009 and 2010, now is the right time to address it.” Upcoming News About Bold Software: MarketPlace Powering the New Customer-Conversation Driven Enterprise [March 18, 10 AM PDT] With the exponential growth of the social web, enterprises need a new way to effectively collect and utilize unstructured information that can be used to drive business decisions.
