Alfabet Announces Record Results for First Six Months of 2008

Revenue up 169% in First Half of 2008 vs. Same Period in 2007;
EBITDA at 23%

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — July 30, 2008 — alfabet group, a leading software provider in strategic IT planning and enterprise architecture management, today announced record results for the first half of 2008.

alfabet enables companies to strategically plan and manage information technology to realize business goals. Its planningIT software is unique in tightly coupling business priorities and IT deliverables with current and future initiatives while giving transparency to the associated change impacts.

Revenue was up 169% for the first six months of the year vs. the same period in 2007. This represents a total year-on-year growth of 123% for the last twelve months. In addition, the company posted EBITDA of 23% for the first six months.

Other company highlights for the year to date included the following:

• Completed transactions with 40 new and existing customers including The Hartford (USA), BMW (Germany), Credit Suisse (USA, Switzerland) Evonik (Germany), Itella (Finland) and RAG (Germany).
• Announced planningIT 4.0 for enterprise architecture planning and management in April. The latest version includes several major innovations and out-of-the-box support for workflow, milestone tracking and blueprint planning to help companies plan and manage their IT more strategically and efficiently.
• Increased US sales coverage to include Midwest and West Coast.
• ABeam Consulting, Sybase and Logica joined alfabet’s partner network.
• alfabet led in all major product studies and market analyst reviews:
o alfabet topped competitors in a comprehensive study of enterprise architecture products by Technical University of Munich based on comparative product tests of 13 vendors.
o alfabet was positioned in the leader’s quadrant for Enterprise Architecture Tools Magic Quadrant by Gartner, Inc.
o Forrester Research, Inc. recognized alfabet’s planningIT solution as the most advanced solution for EA roadmapping.
