What is the best CRM/Contacts Management application to use in a small business environment with mostly Macintosh computers?

Tony,
If you search "CRM Software" + "Macintosh" you will get a zillion references for Macintosh CRM software packages.
One you may want to check out in your country is at www.eurosmartz.com which has a UK office and claims to be Cross-Platform, Macintosh and Windows. But there are many more out there . . .
What's the best package for you?
I suggest you sign up at www.crm4sme.com. You will get a free software evaluator tool when you sign up and you can get a free report as a member "How to select a CRM Solution for a Small and Medium-Size Enterprise".
Good luck!

An ASP CRM would be a clever solution for the starving Mac user. I'm sure that Salesforce.com is optimized for Macintosh browsers, but I guess other ASPs are offering the same compatibility.
In my opinion, serving the Macintosh community is an interesting untapped market for ASP CRM solutions.

The leader in CRM ASPs is
salesforce.com of course, that claims to be the #1 CRM software company in terms of numeber of licences sold.
Another rather unknown outsider in this field (from New Zealand, no less) is BrowserCRM. It's done in PhP and it's really worth a look: very complete, well done and cheap.

I am not aware of any Macintosh CRM tools still available. Most people I talk to these days roll their own using FileMaker. All of the other companies I used to track in the Mac space have gone out of business.
There is one slight exception, if you have NOT upgraded to OS X, you might want to look at MarketMaster.
See: http://www.sellmorenow.com/tactical/marketmaster.htm
This program was optimized for doing "drip marketing" on the Mac.
If anyone else knows of a currently shipping Macintosh CRM solution, I’d sure like to hear about them!

Hi Tony
There is an excellent CRM product for the MAC...it is called DAYLITE. It has an awsome user interface...very user friendly, and there is nothing on the MAC like it. Check it out! The company that developed the product is Marketcircle. Here is the website: http://www.marketcircle.com

Hi,
Reading your newsletter, I saw someone ask about CRM solutions for the Mac, and another reader mentioned out product DayLite.
Since ACT! abandoned the Mac platform, there has been no real off the shelf CRM solution, as compared to the multiple choices offered on the PC side. So a little over a year ago, we developed an application called DayLite to cater to the needs of small business run on Macs. We have been adding to DayLIte non-stop since then, and it has been maturing nicely. We now have a box which is sold at CompUSA's, Apple Stores and others.

Regarding CRM products in ASP (hence cross-platform because they use a web browser as their interface) I suggest looking at a new product called BrowserCRM.
It has a lot of features and costs very little. Definitely worth a look.

New Macintosh CRM
I am the developer of another CRM solution for the Macintosh called CRMHaven. You can choose between running it on a single Mac or over a LAN or hosted on the HMS Cloud. It is cross-platform which some others are not. Plus for the same low cost it optionally links with its Document Management System, messaging system and tele-conferencing screen sharing app.
It imports from the Apple Address Book and features auto-entry (UK postcodes) and auto-formatting. Imports from tab-delimited or csv files and exports to Excel, tab-delimited or csv. Links to Apple Mail, Google for web sites and Google Maps for locating clients. Performs personalised HTML email shots.
Download CRMHaven and log in as user 'Demo' password 'demo' and give it a try.

Hello, My Customer
Hello,
My Customer Relationship Management System nz software is compatible with macintosh as such but sometimes in the multiuser mode the database of the software shows some problems so the problem is with the software or with the os?
