Blogging Every Day – V7N.com 30 Day Blogging Challenge

V7N Blogger ChallengeToday is the start of something really fun that I am participating in that will also benefit you! I have joined the V7 Network’s 30 Day Blogging Challenge. This means that those of us participating will be posting something new to our blogs every day for 30 days, in order to get back into the habit of writing regularly as we launch 2011!

I have never been one to recommend someone blog every single day – first of all, who has the time? When you’re running a business, and doing everything that involves, a couple times a week is plenty. Secondly, you risk your readers tuning you out – it happens to me all the time. I want to be the one you look forward to reading because everything is juicy, not the one who blogs about any old thing just to crank out blog posts for SEO purposes. However. I am making an exception here because it is only for 30 days, it will get me writing again – and then the couple times a week will be a piece of cake from then on – and because I have so much to share!

I will be posting across 3 of my blogs, feel free to check them all out and subscribe if you’d like to keep up with them!

  • My Business Presence – This one! I’ll be sharing tips and advice about building your online presence for business.
  • My Weight Loss Journey I’ve been working on this one for a while! Follow along as I update it for 2011′s goals.
  • Karen Clark’s Personal Blog This is usually a mixture of ‘what’s going on with Karen’ stuff. I’ll be posting about building my business, in particular my speaking career and people who’ve inspired me, plus some family/kids/parenting related topics.

Who started this? Cricket Walker is someone I’ve followed for years. Some of you have heard me talk about Cricket’s SEO Classes and my experience with my old FunFelt website finding success based on what I learned in that class. Cricket thought of the 30 day challenge and posted it to Facebook as well as to the V7 Network forum which I belong to but haven’t been very active on.

I decided to join in because although I love blogging, I have so many other ‘pressing’ tasks to do with my business time that posting new articles seems to always end up last on my list! One of my goals for 2011 is to produce more actionable content articles and this will give me a jump start! I will try not to overwhelm you with too much (hence splitting with the other blogs, too) but I do hope that you’ll enjoy this rush of new material as well!

If you are blogging and would like to participate in the challenge as well, you can jump in any time! Join at the V7N forum and also the Facebook Group.  In the mean time, please share or leave a comment on my posts and let me know what you think, and check out the other participants as well! Thanks in advance!
